Welcome to the 1st Annual CASS Housing Bike Ride and Potluck. We are excited to start off 2017 with a fun, non-competitive, family event to support CASS Housing. As many of you know we are pushing to get our first house established in 2017. Through fundraising efforts like this and generous donations, we are confident 2017 will be the official beginning of something special for those with developmental disabilities.
We would like to recognize the amazing support that Human Motor Works has provided us during the planning stages of this ride. Without their guidance we would not have been able to make this a successful event. Although the store might be closing, the legacy of their comradery and love for the support of riding will be prevalent on the course. Thank you for your support!
For all you non-riders / extended family members that still want to support CASS Housing, we will also be having a potluck lunch for the riders and family members. Entrees and drinks will be provided but side dishes and desserts would be greatly appreciated!
This is NOT a race but a fun group oriented bike ride to encourage everyone to get out on the roads and have a great time being together and raising donations for the organization!
We have structured the routes so that we are together for as much of the ride as possible. Please click below to see the Garmin files for more route information.
The ride will start off at Indian Trails Park Pavilion, head West towards County Line Road, South through Roanoke, then West again to grab a road back North. The 60 mile riders will continue North towards Columbia City and then wind back to Indiana Trails Park Pavilion while the 30 mile riders will head back on 800 S. This will allow about 20 miles to ridden as group between the 60 mile and 30 mile riders.
This is not a sanctioned or supported ride so all riders need to obey normal road traffic rules and regulations.
We will have one water stop (at the break point of 60 and 30 mile routes) and then a second water stop for the 60 mile route riders around mile 43.
If you have any questions, please contact Kevin at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This is a free ride, but your support through a donation is welcomed! You can do this either before or after you register! Thank you so much for your support – 2017 is OUR YEAR!!
If interested in riding, please fill out the form below. It will need to be filled out for each individual rider. If you plan on attending the potlock, but not ride, please just input your name and fill out the last question.
We want to thank all of our sponsors for the Bike Ride!
